MEET THE TEAM: Citlali Cuevas

In our "Meet the Team" series we've asked each of our advisory board and founding team members a series of questions so you can get to know them.

Today we'd like to introduce advisory board member, Citlali Cuevas.

Here's what she had to say:

Hi there! I'm Citlali Cuevas. My name is pronounced Cit-la-li, as in "sit-down lolli-pop." I'm a Chicago based bilingual Latin-X writer, actor and producer. Two of my passions in life are to create and perform. From writing, acting, and producing my own short films and comedy sketches, to hostingand producing my own talk show, "The Real Shit Show" on YouTube.

What's something you've been reading/watching/listening to lately that you're loving?

I'm currently reading Behind the Horror: True Stories that Inspired Horror Movies by Dr. Lee Mellor. Love it! 10/10 recommend to horror movie/novel fans and true crime fans!

What is something you're working on right now (or recently) that you're really pumped about?

I'm currently working on editing my most recent installment of my talk show, "The Real Shit Show". The latest episodes are about sexual education baby!

Any new pandemmy hobbies?

I've been making bracelets and glasses and mask chains/holders out of beads!

What made you want to get involved with Trident?

The opportunity to help create a community that is designed to provide a platform for any and all artists, regardless of echelon or background, to showcase their work and creative projects.

What are you most excited about when it comes to Trident?

What I'm most excited about is not only seeing the opportunities that I'm confident Trident will provide to all artists (such as networking and peer-to-peer collaboration), but I'm also excited to see what other cultural projects make it onto the platform. America doesn't have an official language, or culture really, so don't hesitate to join the trident community just because your work isn't in English or American in nature (whatever that means)!

What is something you wish more people knew about you? A fun fact or secret talent?

I'd say my secret talent is flip cup. I'm unreal at flipping cups man.

Anything else you want us to know?

When I say this is a platform for all artists, I mean ALL artists. If you're a human and an artist, welcome to the Trident Network!
