This weekend, we will be conducting our first live reading of a television pilot script, submitted to our Mission Revision program. Written by Briana Haynie, Paper tells the story of a black struggling artist living at home with her eccentric parents, who must choose between a teaching job that offers security and an opportunity to start a Paint & Sip business.
Briana Haynie is a comedy writer, video editor, and DVD owner based in Los Angeles. She's been published in The New Yorker, McSweeney's, and is a current Features Contributor for The Onion. Her work can be found at brianahaynie.com is
