When doing a podcast based on putting pop culture’s most popular and celebrated things into tournaments, you might be thinking to yourself, they’ve been doing this for over a year and they haven’t done the MCU yet? What is going on?! Well worry not, because the time has come! It’s Trent’s birthday, and he’s a massive MCU fan, so we decided that in order to kick off his new trip around the sun positively, it was time to put these blockbusters into a bracket and determine which is the best!
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has changed the movie business drastically over the last decade-plus, becoming one of the most recognizable properties on the planet. It’s captured the hearts and minds of not just life-long comic book readers, but even people who had never even heard of the hero Iron Man until the first entry into the MCU premiered in 2008, and everyone in between. Die-hard fans, casual fans, it does not matter: everyone has an opinion (good or bad!) about the MCU.
Nia’s MCU opinions could mostly fit into the category of “I don’t know, I’ve never seen that,” so we had to call in some help this week in the form of fellow Trident podcaster, host of Disney Adult, and another MCU superfan, Devin Henderson. Devin helps us break down the massive 32 seed bracket, including his unique and hilarious insights on all things MCU.
