Recently, during our Best Late Night Host tournament, we had a redditor say that comparing nightly shows to weekly shows was totally unfair. When confronted with the criticism, Nia responded: “excellent critique, but we thrive on chaos.” Similarly, eons ago, when we ran our Best Challenge Competitor tournament, many redditors said it was unfair of us to compare male and female Challengers. Nia was outnumbered when confronted with that criticism, but the response would have been the same: we thrive on chaos. We always hoped that the podcast would be fun enough for you to enjoy it and crazy enough for you to get mad enough to vote. From our perspective, we’ve achieved that. So why would we change the formula now?
Well, we’re not going to. We may be taking a break to re-think the best way to deliver the chaos to you every week, but the chaos NEVER stops in our Creation Station. To end an incredible season, our debut year, we’ve decided to lean into the chaos and present to you what is truly the most insane bracket we’ve ever come up with. That’s right, suckers. We’ve held exactly 32 tournaments this year, so we’re throwing EVERY SINGLE WINNER INTO A BRACKET AND MAKING YOU CHOOSE WHICH ONE OF THOSE WINNERS IS THE BEST!!!!!!! We mean it when we say this is truly anybody’s game. In our predictions, we bet big on things that are less niche, but who’s to say? Actually you are. You’re to say.
Will an idiot like Roman Roy win? Since it’s the season, do you think Judy Garland’s “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” will win back-to-back tournaments? What about our first seed Chris “CT” Tamburello, who is poised to win his first back-to-back championship in MTV’s The Challenge history on Wednesday? Pet Sounds? Monsters Inc.? BOWTIE FREAKIN’ PASTA?!?! It’s up to y’all, like it always is.
